...One More Time!

Suddenly, as you may have noticed, I've found that I no longer need this type of therapy. Although I love to think that there are still a few of you checking in once in a while. When I look back to my first few entries, I think wow, I certainly had a few interesting tales to tell. I loved the fact that I had so many friends encouraging me by checking in. I never thought I would be here today with so many people reading this stuff. It has really been a fun and challenging way to keep me on my toes. I must thank Hobbes for encouraging me to start my own blog in the first place. Think of the millions he saved me in therapy!

These days, I have found greater pleasures that do not revolve around the computer. School is finished and with Spring just peering around the corner, I've made plans to visit Europe with NYC'Ho, made arrangements to go camping with friends, enjoyed the company of a few handsome gentlemen callers, and in my spare time have been loving every single moment with my boy who is quickly becoming a little me. (watch out world!)

I'm sure I will continue blogging again one day in the future but for now I think I will focus on what is important...........living life instead of writing about it. Focusing more energy to the more important things in life.

Thanks for dropping by.........I think I'm done. No wait....... i wanted to thank God.....no....no... that wasn't it. Ummmm...... Can I do it? Can I just stop? Suddenly I feel like going on and on as I usually do. Funny how much one can say when no one is around to interrupt you . Are the credits to this movie still rolling?

Canadian Idol: A Little Too Close To Home!

I believe I just ran into the next contestant for Canadian Idol. I was walking down my street when I heard a man singing a the top of his voice. At first, I figured it was some old weirdo but as the man approached, I realized that he was quite young and fairly good looking. (ie Canadian Idol material)

But what a freak! He was belting out the tunes as if he were.............Barry Manilow. He even had his arms waving in the air like a real "superstar" (Celine Dion suddenly comes to mind). It drives me crazy when singers try to act out their songs with arm movements. But then I guess those are simply the ones who can't dance.

As I walked past this guy I smiled and looked over at the woman walking behind him. She rolled her eyes and smiled as if she has been listening to him for the entire block.

Love it when a stranger puts a smile on my face!

"Spring Is In Air!"

Amazing what happens when the warm weather hits Montreal folk. People come out of hibernation and open their minds and eyes to new things. Yesterday I went to Tonic Spa to have my hair done and I suddenly felt more alive. Everyone at the salon was flirty (yes even the gay men) and full of smiles. Upon leaving the salon I felt as though everyone was staring at me. Then again I would look twice also if I saw the colour of my hair.

Sassy sexy red is back and just in time for all the horny Irish men that are due to come out for the Parade on the 14th, Last year, I was forced to juggle two lovers who actually behaved rather well. They even shook hands with each other at the parade. Goes to show you how honesty pays. They both knew about one another so there were no surprises. Actually I think they were shocked to see how different one was from the other. Complete opposites in every way.

Well onto new adventures......

Seems as though I suddenly have a few dates lines up. I look forward to checking out some new meat! i will for sure have some new gossip for y'all soon! Oh and in case you boys are reading this, I don't use real names so have no fear.

This should be interesting.....................

La Florida!

As I led my boy into the ocean, I thought, I wonder if he will have the same reaction as last year. In other words will he run away saying that the waves are too big and the ocean is too cold? In actual fact, he was a wild child. That day the sun was shinning and the waves were huge. My little aquaman was jumping the waves with me. He didn't even care that the waves were hitting him in the face and dragging his body down. I was hanging on to him for dear life as he giggled and jumped through all the waves. Such a brave little boy, I was very proud.

As if that wasn't enough of an adventure, I got the courage to take my boy to Disney World. We spend two FULL days at the Magic Kingdom and we were in heaven. At only two and a half, we did everything from high tech rides like BUzz Lightyear to roller coaster rides, jungle safaris, and even a visit to The Pirates of the Caribbean ride.....unbelievable.

Almost every day my boy got a flirt , smile or giggle from other little babes, I was just so focused on him I forgot to check out anyone other than Mickey Mouse. Actually my boy did get lucky at Disney. During dinner one night when we were completely worn out, Minnie Mouse came over, gave my boy a kiss and fed him his ice cream. What more could a man want at 2 1/2?

After spending way too much time in the hot tub this past week, I managed to leave New Hampshire and jet back home just in time to write my mid-term.

My trip: Hot tub, skiing, beer, hot tub, wine, hot tub, swimming, hot tub and brie!

Now I have less than a week before I head off to Florida.

......and you think you people are stressed! GEEZ!

Just In Time!

Taking off to for my ski trip this Friday. Thank God we have some snow. Now I just have to check out the weather in New Hampshire. Then again if they don't have any snow, I will not be complaining, I will be soaking my body in the magnificent hot tub and cooling off in the huge lagoon style pool.

I am sharing this condo with a bunch of friends who have kids so my boy will be in heaven. I think he already has three girlfriends! I bought him some "cheese cutters" from Canadian Tire and can't wait to get him on the ice! I'm sure it will be more entertaining than Hockey Night In Canada!

Let it snow, let it snow let it snow!

Getting Sassy At The Fruit Store

Last night I went over to chat with a girlfriend. I told her that someone had outbid me on my dreamhouse. She started giving me the same advice as she did about men. "there are other dreamhouses". "maybe this was just not meant to be", etc. Funny I even felt like I had been dumped. Sure enough after a few glasses of wine and great conversation, my worries went away, if only for a bit.

So how am I feeling now?

Funny thing happened this morning. I went into a fruit store to get a few things. When I was at the cash, I mentioned to the cashier that I had to cancel my credit card due to someone trying to use it illegally. Wondered if she took debit cards. Another customer, a gentleman perhaps 65-70 yrs old said.......

"My daughter uses her credit card for everything except sex on the internet!"

"well I guess I have her beat then!" I responded

I have NO idea what possessed me to say such a thing. The old man burst out laughing and I quickly ran out.

Hey sometimes you just need to have a good laugh!
